Oftewel de eerste ‘Pop-Up Kunstmanifestatie’ in Tilburg met werk van Sjon Brands en Petra Jacobs en performances van Martin Peulen. Wilhelminapark, zondag 9 oktober 2022. Een heerlijke middag boven elke verwachting. Een geslaagde ontmoeting die om meer vraagt.   A soothing autumn sun, a beautiful park and hundreds of delighted visitors, brought together by art in our public space. In other words, the first ‘Pop-Up Art Manifestation’ in Tilburg with work by Sjon Brands and Petra Jacobs and performances by Martin Peulen. Wilhelminapark, Sunday 9 October 2022. A wonderful afternoon beyond all expectations. A successful meeting that asks for more.    De initiatiefnemers, het ‘Metropolitan Museum Tilburg’ en ‘Bureau Dorith’, nodigen iedereen uit om mee te denken over een zestal pop-up kunstmanifestaties rond de zomer van 2023, het jaar dat het Wilhelminapark 125 jaar bestaat. Kleinschalige spontane ontmoetingen met kunst, theater, dans, muziek, poëzie, performances, enzovoorts. Opbouwen in de morgen, ’s middags laten zien en ’s avonds weer wegwezen. Wie heeft hier zin in? Elke reactie is welkom.    The initiators, the ‘Metropolitan Museum Tilburg’ and ‘Bureau Dorith’, invite everyone to think along about six pop-up art manifestations around the summer of 2023, the year that Wilhelminapark exists 125 years. Small-scale spontaneous encounters with art, theatre, dance, music, poetry, performances, and so on. Build up in the morning, show in the afternoon and leave again in the evening.
